ALUNAGEORGE WITH BEN ASHTON

// recently I collaborated with my husband, artist Ben Ashton, on artwork for ALUNAGEORGE's debut record, BODY MUSIC.

Without knowing there was a track called Kaleidoscope Love, we imagined Aluna occupying the space inside one of Ben's outsized kaleidoscopic structures, with George reflected throughout her environment.  Mirrors and other optical devices have long featured in Ben's work and his research has influenced my own approach to imagery - this was an amazing way to combine our visions.

// once we knew the reflections would be amazing and that the structure could accomodate Aluna, Ben went to the task of structurally reinforcing it.  Below you can see him appraising his work, while Aluna and George try out their spaceship.
